Wind Cave National Park is a popular tourist destination for a variety of reasons. The most obvious reason is its unique geology; the cave is one of the world's longest and most complex labyrinth cave systems. Above ground, the park features beautiful prairie landscapes and is home to a large herd of bison.

The park is also popular for its annual events, such as the Bison Roundup in the fall and the Prairie Dog Town Celebration in the spring. Every year, the park attracts more than 700,000 visitors from all over the world.
