Joshua Tree National Park

Joshua Tree National Park is one of the greatest National Parks to visit for many reasons. The first reason is that it is one of the most diverse parks in the country. There are two very different ecosystems in the park, the Mojave Desert and the Colorado Desert. The Mojave Desert is home to the Joshua tree, which is the park's namesake. The Colorado Desert is home to many cacti and other desert plants. The second reason is that the park has a wide variety of activities to keep visitors busy. There are hiking trails of all difficulty levels, rock climbing, and stargazing. The third reason is that the park is very accessible. It is only a few hours' drive from Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
